Overview
KFC needed a new newsletter template with an improved layout.
The brief stated that the current menu layout is too busy and that the call
to action is not clear and is not consistent with the current brand refresh principles. We started by conducting user
research and finding out how the customers feel. We tested the emailer and double checked the possible pain-points
causing the customer to give up on the journey. The new template design adheres to the brand refresh principle by using
the correct colours and fonts. It is simple, clean and has clear call to action buttons. We also added an animation which
can be used to advertise promotion items. The recommendation offered was the integration of personalisation and adding
links to the call to actions in the mailer.
